William (Bill) Luttmer

Bill Luttmer grew up in the business. A&A Safety was founded by his father, William J. Luttmer in 1982. Along with his brothers and sisters, he worked at the company doing painting and odd jobs in high school. After college, he joined A&A Safety full-time driving a truck and putting up safety barricades on highway sites. Working with his father William, mother Ruth, brothers, and sisters, he helped expand the business. Bill was named President in 2010.
One of the most important aspects of Bill’s role is to ensure that the company always maintains a culture of safety, support and opportunity for all A&A Safety associates. He is also committed to ongoing innovation, and greatly enjoys working with new and old employees. He is especially proud that 60 employees have been with the company for 10 years or more, and 14 have more than 20 years with A&A Safety.
In addition to leading A&A Safety, Bill is active in the construction industry. He is a Past President of the Ohio Contractors Association (OCA). In 2024, he received an award from OCA for his work with the Ohio legislature to fund road and safety improvement. A native of Cincinnati, Bill attended St. Xavier High School, and went on to graduate from Bowling Green State University. He is married with seven children and three grandchildren.

Ray Brink

Ray Brink is the Area Manager in charge of running the northeast Ohio branch of A&A Safety. Since 1993, Ray has led the Cleveland-based location, helping A&A grow and expand our services in the northeast Ohio area. Ray graduated from Walnut Hills High School. He is married with three kids.
Ray is active in the construction industry and serves on advisory committees for the Ohio Contractors Association (OCA). When Ray’s not on the job, you might find him giving back to the community as the Team Manager of his daughter’s club soccer team competing in the Internationals, Girls 2007 ECNL league.
Tim Racer

Tim Racer joined A&A Safety in 2005 and leads the Dayton team as Branch Manager. Tim oversees contract negotiations, as well as product and service delivery. With projects that can range throughout Eastern Ohio, Tim expertly directs the management of personnel, materials and equipment to efficiently complete every job.
Tim graduated from Turpin High School, and went on to attend University of Cincinnati. He is married with two adult children. In his spare time, Tim enjoys playing golf.
Stoney Luttmer

Stoney Luttmer is a Branch Manager at our Cincinnati location in Amelia, Ohio. Stoney’s primary responsibilities focus on managing the day-to-day business with a keen eye on driving efficiency and profitability at the Amelia location, as well as across the entire A&A business. Stoney directs a team of project managers across several departments, including Maintenance of Traffic, Thermoplastic services, Steel and Concrete Wall installation, Permanent Sign installation, and yard crews. One of the most important aspects of his position is ensuring the safety of all employees.
Since 2011, Stoney has followed in his family’s footsteps working to enhance safety for construction crews and drivers alike. Stoney started working at A&A Safety during high school. To learn all aspects of the business, he worked in a number of positions, including roles on pavement marking crews that demanded night shifts and travel. As he continued to take on more responsibility, he demonstrated increasingly valuable leadership skills and started managing all Amelia-based thermoplastic pavement marking crews.
An alumnus of St. Xavier High School in Cincinnati, Stoney went on to graduate from Ohio University. He was a founding member of the Southwest Chapter of the Young Professionals Network for the Ohio Contractors Association (OCA) and has also served as a member of the OCA’s Future Leaders Forum. A self-described “die-hard” Cincinnati Bengals fan, Stoney enjoys spending time at Norris Lake in the summer with his wife and two daughters. He is a dedicated “girl dad” whose greatest joy is regularly having breakfast with his daughters.
Daniel Luehrmann

Daniel Luehrmann serves as a Branch Manager in the Cincinnati headquarters and is primarily responsible for project planning and management. Daniel oversees a team of Project Managers across a wide range of departments, including Pavement Marking/Removal, Pavement Markers, Purchasing and Graphics. His leadership is pivotal in driving safety, efficiency, and growth. Additionally, he assists in material procurement, and spearheads equipment innovation and acquisition. Daniel is particularly interested in developing new product offerings.
At a young age, Daniel knew he wanted a career in the industry, choosing Construction Engineering as his college major. He began his career at A&A Safety right after college working on a pavement marking crew and performing layout. He soon moved on to designing and building new pavement marking equipment as well as maintaining the current equipment. He has continued to take on more responsibilities such as engineering plans for MOT, driving efficiency with pavement marking equipment and materials, and ensuring proficient project management across the business.
A graduate of Archbishop McNicholas High School in Cincinnati, Daniel received his degree in Construction Engineering at the University of Southern Mississippi. Actively involved in the industry, he is a founding member of the Ohio Contractors Association’s (OCA) Young Professionals Network Committee. Outside of work, Daniel enjoys golfing, cheering on the Cincinnati Bengals, and cherishing moments with his wife and daughter.
Tom McLaughlin

Tom McLaughlin is A&A Safety’s Human Resources Manager. As the top recruiter who oversees hiring for job openings, Tom focuses on making sure all locations and departments are adequately staffed with well-trained and skilled technicians. Another critical part of Tom’s role is making sure everyone gets paid correctly and on time.
An area that Tom finds great satisfaction is implementing new programs for internships, trainee and coop roles, partnering with educational institutions and government programs. He finds satisfaction in seeing new hires discover construction careers and grow within the company.
Tom grew up in Cincinnati and attended Archbishop McNicholas High School. He also graduated from University of Cincinnati and went on to attend Xavier University for graduate studies. He is married with six children and four grandchildren. In his spare time, Tom enjoys cooking, reading and staying involved with his grandkids’ activities.
